  This my favorite Italian Restaurant. I've been to quite a few. And they're by far the best!!
  Best Chicken Marsalas ever.

  The food was horrible.  Mozz  stix bland and tasteless...
  Eggplant parm rubbery sauce bland   Then I ordered calamari salad.  Awful.  Big dish of iceberg , olives and chewy bland calamari rings w a basic Italian dressing that was lunch today $50     My daughter had chicken parmigiana horrible ...

  Typically I don't like to update my reviews when I am annoyed but it's been 2 years since my last review and I just can't leave up a 4 Star review when the last few times I have not been happy.
  
  The last few times service has been slow but tonight it was nonexistent. We arrived at a few minutes to 7 and didn't leave until 8:50pm. It wasn't because it took a long time to be seated.  It wasn't because we just were shooting the breeze, it was because we were mostly ignored and it took over an hour to get our food (with 3 children at the table) and then another 20 to get our bill.
  
  It started when we ended up sitting at 2 tables. Our waiter allowed my 8 yr old to order a $13 appetizer without checking with us first. The only good thing was they ended up (begrudgingly) finally putting 2 tables together.
  
  Our waiter was more interested in the family or friends that were sitting at a table that was behind us. Each time he left the table he walked past us without any concern that one of our friends and the kids had left the table to go sit in the car and watch a movie.
  
  When I asked for the check and mentioned that we had been there almost 2 hours he said they were busy and smirked at the table behind us.
  
  While I am confident that they will not care since most people who dine there are regulars and family.  We will definitely not be back.

  We have been frequenting Mazzola's for many years in both locations and have never received anything but outstanding food and service. We were sorry when they sold there Taft st location However their Orange Drive location is just a couple of minutes away and worth the drive I can't say enough about the family style atmosphere the owners are fantastic people . when they are there they greet you and make you feel like family keep up the good work thank you .

  It seems like the last few times we've had dinner here the service has steadily gone down hill.   Tonight was some of the worst service I've ever had. We agreed to sit at two separate tables so we would not have to wait as long, the adults at one and the kids at the other.  It didn't work very well.  First the kids were so misbehaved, second the server never checked with the adults to see if what the kids ordered was appropriate.  Our daughter ordered a $13 appetizer!
  
  We were there for almost two hours.  It took almost an hour for our meals to arrive.  Our server walked by us multiple times. Once our food was delivered (and we had to ask for our food) he never checked back to see how we were doing.  He ignored us when we wanted the check and ignored us again when the check was ready to be picked up.  When my wife mentioned that we had been there almost 2 hours he said they were busy and then smirked.
  
  Unfortunately we probably will NOT be back. There are so many other Italian restaurants in the area to choose from.
